It’s important to use high-quality adhesive when installing wallpaper. If you want a professional result, the right adhesive is key. We recommend using adhesive for heavy vinyl wallpapers on a non-woven base.
If the wall surface is properly prepared, the strip will quickly adhere to the wall and will not shrink during drying. Poor adhesion can be caused by improper wall preparation or too little/too weak adhesive, causing the wallcovering to dry out before installation begins.
Shrinkage also occurs when the room temperature is too high during the drying period. We always recommend turning off radiators to allow the wallcovering to dry naturally. If the room temperature is too high, the shrinkage rate will accelerate and exceed the adhesion rate.
